We are excited to release new enhancements to the Torch Platform as well as changes specifically for the New Torch Managed Coaching Platform on Saturday, July 15. In addition, preview upcoming changes to the Torch platform.
Torch Platform Enhancements
Making admin action items recurring. Action items in any program will now recur after an email has been sent to the participant(s), unless the participant completes the necessary task or the action item is dismissed. No participant will have more than one action item of the same type at the same time.
New Torch Managed Coaching Platform Enhancements
Streamlining meeting RSVP response handling. To give participants more clarity about attendance for their upcoming meetings, any RSVPs in “Maybe” or “Awaiting” status will be automatically changed to a “No” response 25 hours before the scheduled meeting start time. This policy will not apply to meetings scheduled within 48-hours of the start time.
Automatically canceling meetings with a “No” RSVP response. In addition to the RSVP response handling update above, if an invitee has a “No” RSVP response to a 1:1 coaching meeting, the meeting will be automatically canceled. To account for any accidental “No” RSVPs, there will be a 5-minute delay between the RSVP response and meeting cancellation. A meeting cancellation notification will be automatically sent and the meeting will be removed from all participants’ calendars.
Making it easier to track meeting RSVP responses. You can now keep track of all your RSVP responses for 1:1 coaching meetings in the new “Your RSVP” column of the Meetings table.

REMINDER: Launched enrollment path updates. On June 30, we made an update to the onboarding process so participants can more easily hit the ground running with their coaches. This update impacts participants of your new programs and includes the following changes:
- All participants now begin their enrollment with an overview of what to expect from Torch Coaching, how it benefits them, and how they can be successful with the experience.
- The match profile user interface is improved to reduce time to the first session.
Check out the video in the previous Release Notes for a demo of the enrollment path updates.
