We are excited to release new enhancements to the New Torch Managed Coaching Platform on Saturday, June 24. In addition, preview upcoming changes to the Torch platform.
New Torch Managed Coaching Platform Enhancements
Updating default Torch branding. The default Torch branding will be getting a new look. If you’re using our custom branding feature, this update will not impact your users, with the exception of the navigation text color. The navigation text color will change from white to black, so it is recommended to update any dark custom branding to a lighter color scheme to ensure the text will still be visible. Tenant admins can update this directly in the platform by following these instructions. In addition, the admin sidebar will no longer support custom branding.

Renaming escalations. For all programs, “Escalations” will be renamed “Action items.” The underlying functionality will not change.
Adding the option to edit email templates when bulk sending escalation (“action item”) reminders to participants. The ability to edit and save the bulk email template content sent to participants who have been flagged for any type of disengagement is now available for all action item types.
Enhancing meeting reminders. Meeting reminders will now include an updated ICS file to ensure participants’ third-party calendar invites remain up-to-date, especially in the case a participant missed a previous meeting change. Additionally, the reminder delivery timeframe will shift from 24 hours before a meeting’s scheduled start time to 48 hours before.
Upgrading meeting RSVP options. To better align with most users’ third-party calendars, Torch is adding a “Maybe” meeting RSVP option.

Upcoming Platform Changes
June 30, 2023
Enrollment path updates for Torch Managed Coaching. We are excited to roll out a reimagined coaching experience throughout the coming year. As a first step towards this new experience, we will be making improvements to the participant enrollment path for new programs.
We know that the onboarding process is crucial to setting participants up for success, so they can hit the ground running with their coaches. To quick-start your participant’s coaching journey, expect the following updates to the enrollment path for participants of your new programs (existing programs will not be impacted):
- All participants begin their enrollment with an overview of what to expect from Torch Coaching, how it benefits them, and how they can be successful with the experience.
- The match profile flow is improved to reduce time needed to match with a coach.
Check out the demo video below for a sneak peek at the enrollment path updates coming soon!
