The Coaching impact report gives you a clear view into participants’ key outcomes at the end of your program. We’ve combined quantitative metrics with qualitative feedback to show a well-rounded picture of participants’ growth, their main areas of improvement, and what they thought about their coaching experience.
Follow these steps to access the report, filter the data, and to learn more about what the metrics mean.
Torch tip: For the most complete data, we recommend checking this report for past programs or for an individual program after it has ended.
Accessing the report
From the left-hand navigation, click Reports > Coaching impact.
Filtering the data
By default, you'll see data for all the programs and cohorts you have admin access to.
Note: The report pulls data from 360 assessment results and the Coaching experience and Coaching impact surveys. To protect participants’ privacy, the report sections will display metrics once we have at least 3 responses for the relevant questions.
To focus on specific information, use the filter dropdown menus at the top to select the cohorts and user attributes (like active, inactive, or paused partnership status) you want to see. After you’ve made your choices, click Apply.
The report data will then update to reflect your filter selections. Keep in mind that we still need a minimum of 3 responses to display each filtered data point.
Understanding the metrics
Activity overview
Here you’ll see the main stats on participant activity in Torch coaching, including the benefits your people have gained. You’ll see these data points:
# of partnerships: The total number of coaching partnerships at the time you’re looking at the report.
Avg. meetings per user: The average number of coaching meetings users have each month, calculated over the full history of your program.
Torch NPS: The likelihood of users recommending their Torch coaching experience, calculated over the full history of your program. If a participant has given more than one NPS response, we’ll use their most recent one in the calculation. Learn more about how NPS is calculated.
Coach Satisfaction Score: The average of all participants’ coach satisfaction scores for the entire history of your program. Learn more about how the Coach Satisfaction Score is calculated.
360 assessment highlights
This section shows you the top 3 hidden strengths and opportunities that were identified from participants’ 360 assessment scores.
Top hidden strengths: We identify leadership traits from the 360 assessment as “hidden strengths” if participants rated themselves lower on that item than their colleagues did, on average.
Top hidden opportunities: On the flip side, we identify leadership traits as “hidden opportunities” if participants rated themselves higher on the item than their colleagues did, on average.

Participant feedback
Here’s where you can learn what participants are saying about their coaching experience. The Torch AI summary gives you insight into the main takeaways. You’ll also see participants’ full responses to the following qualitative questions from the Coaching impact survey. We’ll show the most recent responses first:
“We invite you to take a moment and reflect on what you’ve taken away from your coaching experience.”
“What’s the most significant thing you’ve learned in coaching so far? How have you applied it to your work or life?”
