Use Zoom Videoconferencing for Your Meeting

Schedule a meeting with your coach on your organization's Zoom account, from directly within the Torch platform. Follow these instructions to learn how.


NOTE: The option to schedule a Zoom meeting within Torch is only available if your program administrator has enabled Zoom for your organization, and you are scheduling the meeting yourself. This feature is not available if your coach or another participant is scheduling the meeting, unless they also have Zoom enabled for their account.


Step 1

From the Home dashboard, click Schedule meeting under Meetings on the right.

If you are participating in more than one Torch program, choose the program you want to schedule the meeting for from the dropdown, then click Select program.


Step 2When scheduling, ensure "Zoom Video" is selected from the Meeting Location dropdown.


Select Zoom as Meeting Location


Once you're done filling out the meeting details, click Schedule meeting.


Step 3When you join the meeting, either from directly within the Torch platform or from the calendar invite, the meeting link will open up Zoom.


NOTE: As the meeting scheduler, you will also be the host of the Zoom meeting. You must be signed into your company Zoom account in order to start the meeting as well as admit your coach and any other meeting participants from the waiting room, if you're using that feature within Zoom.


Depending on your Zoom settings, you may receive notifications directly from Zoom, such as the "Someone has joined the meeting" email. These notifications are controlled by Zoom, not Torch.
