Schedule a Meeting

Ready to put a meeting with your coach on the books? Follow these steps to schedule a meeting from the Torch platform.


1 Access the meeting scheduler. From the Home dashboard, click Schedule meeting under Meetings on the right.


If you’re participating in more than one Torch program, choose the program you want to schedule the meeting for from the dropdown, then click Select program.


2 Check the meeting details. Review and update the default meeting title, if you’d like. You can also add an optional description.


The meeting location will be set to "Torch Video", and the duration will be 45 minutes by default.

Note: If your program manager has enabled Zoom for your organization, "Zoom Video" will be selected as the default meeting location instead.

Under Participants, your coach will already be pre-populated as a meeting participant. If you want to assign your coach as the host, click Make host next to their name.

Note: If you assign your coach as the host, they’ll have permissions to edit or cancel the meeting.

3 Select a time. Select the date you want to meet on the calendar, then choose an available time slot below.

If you want to meet with your coach on the same day and time moving forward, switch the “Make this a recurring meeting” toggle above the calendar to the checkmark.

Then use the dropdown menus to select the frequency (every other week or every 4 weeks) and duration of the recurring meeting series (ending after 2, 3, or 4 occurrences, or at the end of your program).

Torch tip: If you’re scheduling a recurring meeting, you’ll be able to review all the meeting dates and times on the left along with the other meeting details.



4 Schedule the meeting. Once you're done, click Schedule meeting. An email invitation will be sent to all meeting participants, including you.
