Manage Learning Goals

Learning Goals help you define what you want to accomplish throughout your coaching journey in partnership with your coach. Follow these steps to create a new learning goal, or edit an existing learning goal.

Create a new learning goal

From the Home dashboard, navigate to the Learning tools section. Under Growth activities, click Learning goals.

Click Set new goal.

From the Learning goals tab, click Create new learning goal

Enter a title for your goal. In the Description textbox, add more details if desired, such as signs of success and how you will know the goal has been achieved.

Select a Focus Area for your goal from the dropdown.

NOTE: The focus area options relate to the Torch Leadership Assessment Domains by default. However, your organization may have defined custom learning areas.

When you're done, click Save goal.

Repeat these steps for each additional learning goal you want to add.

Edit an existing learning goal

You can change the title and description of an existing learning goal.

From the Home dashboard, navigate to the Learning tools section. Under Growth activities, click Learning goals.

Select the learning goal you want to edit the title or description for.

Click Edit next to the field you want to update.

Make your desired changes, then click Save goal.
