Follow these instructions to join a meeting with your coach via video or phone from your calendar provider or from directly within the Torch platform.
Join a meeting via video
To join from your calendar provider, open the meeting invite and click the meeting link. A new browser window will open automatically.
NOTE: You will be prompted to log in to the Torch platform if you are not already logged in. |
To join from the Torch platform, from the Home dashboard, click Join meeting in the Meetings section on the right.
NOTE: The “Join meeting” button will appear 15 minutes prior to the meeting start time. |
Click Join Web.
If this is the first meeting you're joining, in the top-left of your browser, you'll be prompted to give meeting.torch.io access to your microphone and camera. Click Allow.
NOTE: You must allow permissions in order to use your audio and video during the meeting. If you initially blocked the access, you must go to your browser settings to update your permissions. |
To adjust your video and audio settings, click Settings, then Audio and Video Settings. Choose your video and audio sources, then click Done.
Click Join Now.
Upon joining the meeting, you'll have the ability to mute or unmute yourself, start or stop your video, share your screen, and send a chat message. From the More menu, you can adjust your audio and video settings, change your background, and switch between Speaker View and Gallery View if desired.
NOTE: You'll have access to the meeting room for up to 25 minutes after the scheduled meeting end time. |
Join a meeting via phone
To join from your calendar provider, open the meeting invite.
To join from the Torch platform, from the Home dashboard, click Join meeting in the Meetings section on the right.
NOTE: The “Join meeting” button will appear 15 minutes prior to the meeting start time. |
Use the dial-in information provided. You'll then be prompted to enter the 8-digit meeting PIN in order to join the meeting.
If you're joining from the Torch platform, you can dial in by phone, or use the "One tap mobile" dial-in link with the communication app of your choice.
NOTE: You'll have access to the meeting room for up to 25 minutes after the scheduled meeting end time. |
