View the Coaching Impact Report


Article summary

The Coaching Impact report gives you visibility into key participant outcomes at the end of your program. It combines quantitative metrics and qualitative feedback to provide a holistic view into participants’ level of growth, top areas of improvement, and reflections on their coaching experience. Follow these steps to access the report, or reference more information about the included metrics at a glance.

NOTE: This report pulls data from 360 assessment results and the Coaching Experience and Coaching Impact surveys. To protect participant privacy, report sections will populate with data once a minimum of 3 responses have been received for the relevant questions. For complete data, we recommend viewing this report for past programs or for an individual program after it has ended.

Access the Coaching Impact Report

Step 1

From the left-hand navigation, click Reports, then Coaching impact.


Step 2

Here you'll see available data for the programs and cohorts you have Admin access for.

Based on the specific criteria you want to report on, select your desired cohorts and user attributes (active, inactive, or paused partnership status) from the filter dropdown menus. After making your selections, click Apply.

The report data will update accordingly based on your selected filters, with a minimum of 3 responses still required to view each filtered data point. 

Metrics at a Glance

Activity overview

Displays key indicators of participants’ activity in Torch coaching, including the benefits they’ve gained. It highlights the following data points:

  • # of partnerships - The total number of partnerships at the point in time you’re accessing the report.

  • Avg. meetings per user - The average number of coaching meetings users have per month over the full history of your program.

  • Torch NPS - How likely users are to recommend their Torch coaching experience over the full history of your program. Learn more about how NPS is calculated. If a participant has submitted more than one NPS response, their most recent response will be incorporated into the calculation.

  • Coach Satisfaction Score - The average of all participants’ coach satisfaction scores over the full history of your program. Learn more about how the Coach Satisfaction Score is calculated.

Activity Overview

360 assessment highlights

Displays the top 3 hidden strengths and opportunities as identified through participants’ 360 assessment scores.

  • Hidden strengths - Individual items in the 360 assessment are identified as hidden strengths if participants’ self-ratings for the item are lower than the average colleague rating.

  • Hidden opportunities - Individual items in the 360 assessment are identified as hidden opportunities if participants’ self-ratings for the item are higher than the average colleague rating.

Coaching’s impact

Displays participants’ progress on their coaching goals, as well as the top 5 most common areas of improvement based on their Coaching Impact survey responses.
