About settings: Anonymize a path or path template

Article Summary

Administrators are able to anonymize a path template when creating/editing the path template, as long as a path has not yet been launched from that template.

Administrators are able to anonymize a path when confirming the settings to launch the path.

Note: This setting cannot be changed once a path is launched.

Why anonymize?

This feature is useful if you would like to use one path template for multiple participants, but do not want participants to interact or see another’s activity.

For example, you may want to invite many participants to the same coaching enrollment path or mentorship enrollment path, but not allow the participants to know who else is participating in the path or interact with one another.

What happens when anonymize is on?

If anonymize is turned on for a path template, any paths created from that template will be anonymous. This will hide/disable:

  • Path view
  • Discussion tab
  • Notes tab
  • Resource discussions
  • Connections created from this path
  • Member List in "About" screen
  • Leaderboard

Ability to invite other participants to meetings
